- Approval & Credit: Because our courses are officially listed and approved in the NYC ASPDP catalog, they are guaranteed to count toward your salary advancement. Just remember to register through the official ASPDP portal by their posted deadlines to ensure your credits are processed correctly.
- Alternatively, you can peruse our Graduate-Credit Courses if you prefer to earn university credit through UMass Global.

Complete Coursework
We'll email you your welcome packet, and you're all set! Complete your ASPDP coursework between one and six months (not earlier or before) from the date of your registration.
Earning Credit
- Prior to the end of your ASPDP semester, email your completed coursework to support@upwardteachers.com (Summer 2026 semester ends August 28!)
- Provider Review: Our team reviews and enters your passing grade into the ASPDP system within two weeks of the course end date.
- Mandatory Survey: Once your grade is entered, log in to your ASPDP account to complete the required course survey. Note: Your credits cannot be finalized until this survey is submitted.
- ASPDP Verification: The ASPDP team performs a final audit of your grade and survey. This step can take up to 6 weeks after the semester ends.
- Transcript Ready: Once validated, your credits will appear on your official ASPDP transcript. You can download this directly from the "My Courses" page on the ASPDP website to submit to the Office of Salary Services.
