This course is designed to equip educators with culturally responsive strategies that are necessary to reach students in a culturally diverse and inclusive learning environment. Through a comprehensive exploration of cultural context, effective communication, and culturally responsive teaching strategies, participants will develop the ability to build strong relationships with students, address cultural challenges, and promote understanding and respect for all cultures in Hawai`i.

Participants will explore the importance of parent partnerships in enhancing student achievement, learn strategies for building trust and effective communication, and address common challenges with parent collaboration. Participants will leave with the tools and strategies needed to foster positive parent-teacher relationships, leading to improved student outcomes and a stronger school community.

Participants will explore the benefits of collaboration, learn strategies for building strong relationships and effective communication, and develop strategies for co-planning, data-driven collaboration, and co-teaching. Participants will leave with the tools and strategies needed to implement collaborative practices, leading to improved student outcomes and a positive school culture.
This course empowers educators to build strong, collaborative relationships with school administrators. By developing effective communication skills, understanding administrative roles and priorities, and advocating for student needs and program resources, participants will be equipped to navigate complex organizational structures, resolve conflicts, and create a positive school culture. This course will provide participants with the tools and strategies to effectively communicate their ideas, build trust, and advocate for their students and programs.
This course is designed to equip Hawai`i educators with the knowledge and skills to empower students to explore their career interests and make informed decisions about their future. Participants will learn to identify and leverage local community partnerships to provide students with real-world experiences and opportunities. The course will also delve into strategies for incorporating Hawaiian culture and values into career planning, highlighting the unique opportunities available in Hawaii's diverse industries. By the end of this course, participants will be able to develop and implement effective career planning strategies to support student success.
